Bringing your baby home is such a tender and transformative time. It’s filled with love and wonder, but it can also feel overwhelming, exhausting, and sometimes even lonely. You don’t have to carry it all on your own.
My name is Erica Ruedas Hall, and I offer postpartum doula care and new parent coaching for families across the Seattle Eastside (Kirkland, Redmond, Bellevue, Newcastle, Renton) and South King County (Kent, Auburn, Federal Way, Tukwila). Think of me as an extension of your village—someone to walk alongside you, whether you’re surrounded by family and friends or navigating this new season with just your partner.
With more than 10 years of experience in consulting, coaching, and training, I bring both practical skills and compassionate presence to your early weeks at home. I can help with the essentials—feeding, diapering, swaddling, bathing—while also supporting the deeper needs of this transition: lactation guidance, emotional well-being, sibling adjustment (human or furry), and helping you reconnect with yourself as you step into this new chapter.
Most of all, I am here to remind you that you’re doing beautifully. I’ll listen without judgment, celebrate your wins (even the tiny ones), and help you find your rhythm as a family. You don’t have to figure it all out alone—I’m here to walk with you.
What I Offer
$55 an hour
Minimum 12 hours
We start with an hour-long prenatal intake session, where we review or design your postpartum plan. You get to decide what those first precious days will look like: will you have visitors? How will you get your meals? What does your community support look like? What does your emotional health plan look like? When and how often would you like me to support you?
After baby arrives, I will help with any and all of the following:
Lactation support
Bottle feeding support
Emotional health of both parents
Meal planning and prepping
Baby laundry and light housekeeping duties
Pet support
Tracking doctor’s appointments and postpartum care
Newborn care education
Household management support and guidance
Integration of new family member with the household
Babywearing
Postpartum Doula Package
$75 a hour
No minimum
Think of this as your doula on-call. Whether baby is already here, a full postpartum doula package isn’t in the budget, or you’re out of the fourth trimester but it’s not getting easier, I’m happy to hop on a call with you and hear you out. Postpartum lasts longer than the first 12 weeks and it’s natural to want or need support as you continue through your parenting journey. We can discuss whatever you’d like: breastfeeding struggles, starting solids, a return to paid work or a career pause, or trying to find your identity post-baby (whether this is your first, only, or last baby!) - anything goes!
And, if you no longer need the dedicated support a postpartum doula can provide but still want that motherhood mentor support, we can discuss a package of sessions to help continue to guide you.
Ad-hoc Coaching Session
If you would like to work with me, book a discovery call so we can discuss what you’re looking for and whether we’re a match!
